Psychotherapeutisches Angebot für Kinder und Jugendliche

Psychotherapy serves the purpose of assisting children, adolescents and their parents regarding psychological problems in all stages of development and aspects of life. Its goal is to alleviate existing problems in a long-term manner.

In order to achieve that goal, we offer psychotherapy for children and adolescents in individual settings with supplementary consultation for parents or legal guardians, family therapy, group therapy, aid conferences and psychosocial networking.

We offer psychotherapy in the following fields and problem areas:

  • Behavioural problems
  • Social behavioural problems
  • Mobbing
  • Development delays
  • Puberty crisis
  • Depression
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Psychosomatic disorders
  • Aggressive behaviour
  • Addiction

Art Therapy:
We also offer assistance to children and adolescents who find it hard to express themselves verbally. They are encouraged to express themselves through drawings, paintings or modelling clay, instead.

First Steps:
At first, an initial meeting will take place. Depending on the arrangement, this will be held in the presence of the child or solely in the presence of its parents or legal guardian(s). Mostly, this is followed by psychological diagnostics. Depending on the treatment plan, this is followed by individual therapy, group therapy, or family therapy that mostly takes place once a week.

If the legal requirements are met, the Wiener Gebietskrankenkasse will meet the costs for psychotherapy. If the cost bearing is not covered by the health insurance company, we offer cost-effective psychotherapy within the context of academic teaching.

We offer psychotherapy in the following languages: German, English, Persian, French, Slovenian.

Course of Action:
